Here at Little Folks Furniture, we pride ourselves on having over 30 years' experience of designing and creating beds and bedrooms for children.
We value using high quality timbers, traditional craftsmanship, using proper joints and testing our beds so that they are safe and secure.
Our wish is for our customers to invest in high quality beds, enabling these to become heirloom pieces, passed down through generations, and used in timeless interiors for years to come.
Exclusive Design

We design each and every one of our beds, right down to the last handhold and ladder rung. In this way, we know and understand the all of our beds from a holistic sense, and are able to better aid our customers with all the ins and outs of the designs.

Traditional craftsmanship
Our premium ranges use mortise and tenon joints, for sturdy beds that truly will stand the test of time as well as the knocks and bumps of childhood. A mortise and tenon joint provides a strong and stable structure and larger surface area than, for example, a joint fixed together simply with dowels, making them a superior structure to those in cheaper beds.
Solid hardwood timbers
We use carefully selected solid hardwood timbers for our bed frames; a robust and durable natural material that means that our beds will last through the many phases of childhood and beyond.

Traditional paint finishes
The solid hardwood timbers ensure that our triple paint layer process creates a premium coverage and finish to all of our beds. All of our painted finishes are non-toxic, making them especially suitable for children, and the three layers of quality paint provide a lasting finish; particularly important when it comes to beds for children.
Full size beds

Versatility is important to us, and so we design all of our beds as full size singles (or small doubles). This means that they can all be used as guest beds for grown ups, as well as for children, (yes they really will last that long!)
Safe and secure

Safety is of paramount important to us, and so we have invested in our very own testing rig for our beds, where we bish, bash and bosh them with weights. Our rigorous testing process led by our in house Technical Manager provides us and our customers with the knowledge that our beds are safe and secure.
Our stance on sustainability

Protecting the planet is of utmost importance to us, and our Sourcing Manager and his team carefully select and track the timbers that we use, from log to final bed. We create our beds using timbers from managed forests, always seeking to source our timbers responsibly.
Little Folks Furniture beds are all built to last and designed to be cherished, for many years to come.
