Here at Little Folks, we're a small, dedicated team of enthusiasts who have been designing and making exceptional quality children's beds and furniture together
for a long time.
We help create extraordinary, comfortable and safe places for children to grow up. We like to think we have a well-deserved reputation as experts in children's furniture (so much so that we sometimes do it for other people too) and we continue to develop a wide range of furniture that's well-made, practical as well as beautiful; designed for the rigours of real family life.
Our Design Philosophy
From mortice and tenon joints to ladder steps and every measured rail in between, we specify each detail of our designs and carefully select the materials they are made from.
Because we define their construction, we can be certain each piece delivers the same performance and integrity, every time. Our designs are not just exclusive; they're built to last giving you proper peace of mind for years to come.
Tried, Tested, Trusted
Your child's comfort and safety is our top priority. We think it is very important to be able to demonstrate why our beds are better and so we engineer our own advanced testing equipment; and use it often.
We test to all the different clauses of safety standards and will measure by how much we can exceed. Safety is a paramount consideration, and these testing disciplines inform our decisions about design and materials needed.
Materials Matter
Years of practical experience leads us to specify hardwoods for our bed frames and using traditional (proper) jointing; because using soft woods and lots of nuts and bolts simply aren't as strong or durable.
Our Commitment to Quality
- Timber sustainability is paramount - using timber only from managed forests
- Beds are often made next to the forest, minimising carbon footprint
- We reinforce our responsibility in a "chain of custody"
- We develop only foam-free, proper spring interior mattresses for suitable support, comfort and longevity
