Natural Wool Pocket Sprung Small Double Mattress

Our Natural Wool Mattresses are designed with superior comfort and performance in mind, and for the comfiest night's sleep. Each mattress is covered in a luxury natural cotton damask, and is hand made using the best natural materials that bring additional benefits. The soft wool layer under the cover has temperature regulating properties which is important for children as they sleep longer and spend more time in bed. All the layers from the cover to the cotton fibres of the comfort upholstery covering the spring core allow the mattress to breathe - which is so important for the long term health of the mattress. The top layer of british wool is naturally flame retardant so no chemical treatment of the mattress is required (so-called chemical free); these natural fibres also have hypo-allergenic qualities. At the core is a 1000 count pocket sprung unit which guarantees a repetitive and sensitive responsiveness over many years - and essential as children move so much more in their sleep. Traditional features such as tufting and side panel stitching are included to hold the mattress' layers and shape over time, , and strong flag-stitch handles make easy work of mattress turning. The Small Double mattress is designed to fit our small double beds, (6'3" x 4'0").
