. Learn moreThe Bowood double bed is a premium child’s bed, with a pared back design and inspiration taken from the arts and crafts movement. The bed incorporates beautiful, turned spindles within a gently bowed headboard and the footboard is left low for a sense of openness in the room. The carefully refined Bowood bed is crafted from high performing, responsibly sourced hard woods which enable these special features. Traditional craftsmanship such as mortice and tenon joints ensure that the bed is built to last, and the hard woods provide a superior base for our exclusive, non-toxic paint finishes. This timeless double bed also allows for a sleepover and storage trundle to be stored underneath. Featured here in Painswick Blue the bed is also available in Pure White and Ivory White, and also with a standard height footboard.
