Think Pink!

You *may* have heard the news that a rather largely anticipated film has launched this week. Whether you are a Barbie fan or not, it’s fast defined this summer’s look as Pink in all of its guises, and as it so happens, it’s one of our favourites too!

Whilst it’s definitely a firm favourite with many children, it can be hard to get Pink right. – Too bold and it can look a little brash, too subtle and is it quite enough?

So, if you’d like to pop a little bit of pink into their room (or yours!) here are our top 10 ways to embrace this bold and brilliant hue, in the most stylish of ways:

  1. Go big or go home – One for the avid fans, why not colour-block the room by selecting two bold pinks on corresponding walls? Red-Pink tones like Garnet and Ruby are big this season, and if you’re partial to a bit of an intentional clash, pair them with Raspberry and a pop of Mustard as a punchy highlight. Delicious!

  1. Keep it earthy for a more natural feel. Choose warm, muddy pinks such as Terracotta and Clay, and combine with Apple Greens for an on trend update for 2023. These earthy tones are great for an older child’s room, and work equally well to warm up a living space too.

  1. Choose a classic Baby Pink for a bright and airy feel. Soft barely-there pinks work beautifully to add just a subtle hint of colour on the walls, and can be layered up with lots of other Pinks to create a harmonious scheme that’s very easy on the eye. Gentle pinks are a great option for younger little ones’ rooms.
