Why not string up some faux leaf garlands across the headboard or along the walls. They instantly bring the outdoors in and add a touch of woodland magic. If you're feeling particularly crafty, you (or the kids) could even have a go at creating your own paper garlands.

Arrange pinecones and acorns in jars or scatter them on shelves. - An instant and easy autumn update!

4. Add some mood lighting

Drape fairy lights around the bed frame or along the window. They create a whimsical, starry-night effect.

Swap out plain lampshades for ones with leaf patterns or warm tones.

5. Add seasonal prints

Hang posters featuring pumpkins, owls, or woodland creatures. It’s like creating a mini art gallery for your little art enthusiast.

If you have a creative child, perhaps encourage them to create their own autumnal  masterpieces. Frame their leaf rubbings —it’s a keepsake and decor in one!

6. Swap out the window dressings

Switch lightweight summer curtains for floor length, thicker ones. They’ll keep the chill out and add a touch of elegance too.  Look for curtains with leaf motifs or warm plaid patterns.
