As you know, I’m all for easily accessible room styling, so I just couldn’t wait to get into all the tinsel and glitter!

Read on to see the first of their Hand Crafted Christmas scenes, along with some handy pointers on how to update your little ones rooms ….

First up: "Merry Cactus!"

The Tropical Trend doesn’t seem to be waning, so why not embrace it with some colourful creativity? Colour clashes, vibrant vibes and flamboyant fun are the order of the day for this Peruvian based story, featuring the Little Folks Furniture oh-so-clever Midsleeper bed.

I am partial to a navy wall. Especially one that's been painted 2/3 of the way up. It just oozes modern style, and makes a room feel airy and spacious by leaving all the white above to continue into the ceiling. This paint colour is from B&Q’s own range, and is called Deep Blue Sea. It's just such a beautiful shade and includes hints of green too.

The navy creates the perfect backdrop for a riot of colour layered on top. A perfect palette to pair with the navy is Chartreuse, Teal, Lime and Fuchsia.

The brilliant thing about this look is that you can spend so much time with little ones creating their own hand crafted items to decorate with AND get lots of interesting wall decor going on. – Win, win!

Watch the Little Folks blog for future posts with step by step advice on how to create your own Christmas Cactus wall art and Pom Pom garland!

Happy Styling!
